a price structure that fits your needs
I can arrange a pricing approach to fit your budget in a number of ways. Rather than a set hourly rate, I charge market rates that hinge on criteria such as client type (e.g., profit/non-profit), scope of work (e.g., national/international/local) and deadline (e.g., normal, overnight and weekend). I offer three rate approaches:
Project Estimate. I provide you with an estimate for completing the project. My price customarily includes two sets of revisions. My final price is the same as the estimated price, unless the project scope changes significantly (via approved change-order). Most clients appreciate the budget certainty of this approach.
Hourly. Occasionally, I work on an hourly basis. This may be the best approach on a project that is ongoing or one that is too difficult to scope in the initial stages. We negotiate the rate based on market factors.
Retainer. This approach works well for continuing consulting arrangements such as for public relations work. We agree on a monthly fee, and I provide at least the number of hours of work covered by the fee. Any time worked beyond the agreement is subject to your pre-approval.
